Reno River Festival

Uptown Downtown ARTown
The Uptown Downtown ARTown annual arts event fills Reno's sidewalks, parks and galleries. More than 200 events, over the month of July, from 52 arts organizations are featured, including art exhibitions, opera, ballet, symphony and storytelling events.

Hot August Nights

More than 800,000 people race to this week long event featuring fabulous cars, dozens of free concerts, controlled cruises, show-n-shines, the Big Boy's Toy Store, the Silver Auction and a Swap Meet where you just might find that part you've been looking for!
Great Reno Balloon Race
Drift away with the Great Reno Balloon Race featuring more than 125 of the nation's top balloonists. The fun begins pre-dawn, as hundreds of balloons beautifully ascend into the sky. Exciting shows include the Dawn Patrol, Glow Show, Tissue Paper Balloon Launch, Balloon Blackjack and Balloon Boulevard where spectators will find crafts, souvenirs and warm food and drinks.
Genoa Candy Dance
This event originated in 1919 to help the town provide funds for their first street lights. Today the event has grown, but still offers the small town charm it once did. Patrons are invited to browse the more than 350 vendors and exhibitors, stay for the dinner and dance and delight in the homemade candies.
Eldorado Great Italian Festival
Lovers of Italian food and traditions will delight in this annual event. Special features include live entertainment on 3 stages, a spaghetti sauce cook-off, the famous grape stomping contest, bocce ball tournament, kids' gelato eating contest, a gourmet Italian buffet and the last big farmer's market of the season.
Help the locals celebrate their heritage. For over 60 people from all around have been coming together to celebrate Nevada heritage and the founding of their state. Today the celebration continues with a parade, music and art shows, RSVP carnival, 1864 grand Ball, Nevada Day Music and Heritage festival, Pancake breakfast, Nevada Day Classic Run/Walk, Annual World Championship Rock Drilling Contest and post parade musical performances by local bands.
